I'm very excited to be able to share a bit of my life with all of my family and friends! Nowadays, we find ourselves on the run most of the time making it difficult to keep in touch, so that's why I decided to setup my site to be able to share a little bit of my life with the ones dearest to my heart
What's New......
I can't wait for the school year to be over!! I'm currently teaching 1st grade at an elementary school in La Joya. This is actually my second year teaching and all I can say is..I Love It! I enjoy working with kids although right about this time of the year, you can't blame me for wanting and needing a vacation...
My plan is to go back to school to get a Master's with the LPC license to open up my own counseling service or work for one. I initiially wanted to be a school counselor since my goal has always been to work with kids and help build a strong foundation for them especially in their elementary years. After working in an elementary however, i've realized that school counselors nowadays unfortunately are not actually counseling kids as much as I believe is necessary to really impact kids.
I can honestly say that I touch kid's lives as a classroom teacher and it is very rewarding to put a smile on their face however, it is getting increasingly demanding in regards to the accountability.

As you might already know, I'm passionate amongst many things, about the Chinese Culture being that my great-grandfather was Chinese leaving me the name Chiu which I am very proud of.
